PHI Carbon/Carbon Composites “Neftec”
Carbon fibre reinforced carbon composite, supplied with NEFTEC. A material for furnace fixtures that holds its strength to 2000°C and weighs a fraction of steel.
C/C Composites is the common name for Carbon fiber reinforced carbon composites or CFC. It is an advanced material made of thin carbon fibers and matrix binder together; it creates a composite of highly durable materials for high temperature and friction applications.
The basic manufacturing principles of the C/C composite involve fibers and a matrix going through several impregnations and heat treatment cycles. Once these steps are complete, graphitization is the final process, leaving you with a C/C Composite material.
C/C Composites are the ideal solution for today’s fast-moving high-temperature environments and heat-treatment industries. C/C composites have high mechanical strength, thermal conductivity, prolonged life, are very light in weight. A great solution to many users due to energy savings increased productivity and an overall reduction in running costs.
